Default Stupid Americans! -- Stupid... Stupid... STUPID!!! __________==___ agymdovo

In my estimation ( which may not be worth much) the Americans should stop
sending their tax dollars to all of these others countries who seem to hate
them
so much. How would that set with the rest of the world??? The Americans
have
most likely helped every other country in the world and each of those
countries
still stand with their hands out wanting more. When is enough enough???!!!

Prior to this, it was American policy and the American government that was

Actually, the USA gives the lowest percentage of its GNP in foreign aid of
any industrial country. All the rich countries agreed in 1992 to give 0.7%
of GNP in aid. Last year we gave only 0.14%. The only countries to meet the
target were the Scandinavians plus Netherlands and Luxembourg. We give quite
a lot in overall dollars simply because we are the richest country in the
world, but don't worry, very little of your tax money went in aid to the
undeserving.

If we agree to stop receiving your tax dollars will you stop sending your
posts to winemaking groups?

And while your at it, quit sending us MacDonalds, Burger King, KFC and all
the another american crap you keep sending us? How about quitting arming
the world then deciding that it is too well armed and needs blowing up
again?

Argh! You finally got to me with your trumped up, head-up-arsed, whinging,
arrogant manner!

I feel dirty now...

Ok guys and dolls,

This is a wine making list, and so far it's been the most polite list that I
have ever read.

Let's make wine, not war, let's not talk politics or religion (except that
of Dionysius).

And for the record, I did not vote for the incompetent idiot . . . and I'm
not real happy either, but our system works, sorta . . .

Next time, I"m going to run for dictator . . .

In case no one has noticed, this is not the wine making list. This is
the quilt making list. ;-) (But that doesn't mean that I don't like wine
as well as quilting, also. ;-)

Heather, I know, but it just gets my dander up in a knot when
Americans are always being criticized no matter who is does
it especially when they don't really know us and when they
expect us to support them as well as ourselves. They just
don't realize that a good share of the people in America don't
have all of the money and most of us struggle to survive from
day to day just as they do.
Also it needs to be noted that the President isn't the only one
who makes decisions in America. He can push certain ideas
but it is the Congress and the House of Reps that will either
accept or reject his ideas. They are the ones who make our
laws, not the President.

Cross posted to lots of lists in fact. Wine, textiles, quilting. Surely
there is a 'special' area for idiots to post to?

Yes, but if you drink, don't quilt. Alcohol and thread don't mix.

(Sorry for adding to the static; just trying to turn a little nuisance into
something I can enjoy.)

Yes but they're too lazy to take a magic marker to a public toilet stall to
post on the walls there.
