Quilty progress

Well with all the inspiration of so many here and listening to
discussion on table runners I decided to do some more. Years ago I made
a good number of them for holiday gifts. Of the dozen or so sets I kept
one for myself.
Then I was inspired here.... my own 2 daughters did not have a set
so yesterday I decided to go ahead and make them a set of placemats and
a table runner.
I made 24 blocks yesterday and began putting them all together today.
So far I have both table runners pieced together and ready to be
sandwiched and 6 placemats at the same point of completion. I have the
other 6 placemats ready to sew together. I am hoping by this evening I
will have the batting and backing cut and maybe even basted. I have
decided though that I will stop working on this project at about 8p so I
can spend time with DH watching tv and work on the binding of the GMFG
that I am so close to completing.
