Another Moebious Done and it `s Fabulous

Day before yesterday at the doctor`s waiting room [ crocheting my
moebious ] when the woman next to me said ,,, Oh i see you are taking
instructions from my sister in law ????? i said excuse me who is that
? she named the woman and i had to swallow a smile , this woman
learned from me how to make a moebious , several months ago !!!
Oh i don`t mind her teaching it on [ even for money] , but to tell
others she invented it this winter ???? . Came home gave her a call
asked about it ? she said ,,,, "well,,,,, you know , i can`t teach and
admit i learned it from you ! thus i tell them i invented it !!!!"
RCTYers i don`t know what you would have said ? i just had no words

several hours Very unusual for this international board ,, where there
is always somebody somewhere awake !!!

So she's being dishonest with her customers? That's a practice that
will return to haunt her one day I suspect.

Murielle it is not plagarising since it is published on the net [ with
my name] , and i teach it and teach it ,,,,, but i don`t think that
saying she invented it is proper ....

Horrifying! What can one do when someone "plagiarizes" a pattern? I'm

I've also been having problems with posts showing up, or rather
NOT showing up. Sometimes I'll see nothing for 2 or 3 days, then
suddenly I have 50 new posts, many of them written a day or two before
I get them. I think there's some kinks in the cyber system recently.

There have been problems this side of the pond too, Marie. The server I
use was down for the best part of 2 days and this morning is the first
time since Tuesday night that it has worked when I tried to use Usenet.

Rob and I did take the opportunity to get rid of Windows and install a
Linux system on my computer so I'm on (yet another) learning curve :-)

For some reason, some of the news servers don't propogate as quickly.
I suspect the sysops have them setup to not check but a few times a
week for new material to limit bandwidth use.

I have to same problem from time to time, even using Newsguy and
they're pretty good about keeping updated.
