Killing time
While waiting for my small boy to roll out of bed this morning I
started reviewing my knitting for the year. Details bore me before I've had coffee, but suffice to say that this may be the most productive year on record. Having the sock machine surely did help to boost my FO count, but I knocked back many large projects and more than a few pairs of handknit socks plus assorted other small goods. Yesterday I cast on a Dubblemossa from "Handknitting with Meg Swansen" (it is available as an individual pattern from her website) after spending the best part of Friday evening separating 3- and 6-ply White Buffalo so that I can knit the hat with singles. I should have it finished by Christmas, but as I'm sending it Across the Water it won't arrive until after the New Year, most likely. |
