Physically I am okay. Emotionally I am a wreck
because in the last seven months I have had to deal with the death of
my mom, being dumped by my boyfriend soon after that and just recently
had to put my 14 year old dog to sleep after he had a stroke and
didn't recover from it. He had congestive heart failure and was on

All I want to do right now is eat, sleep and knit, watch tv and
occasionally check my email and newsgroups.

Sorry that you have had to go through all that. Death of someone close does
seem to make you numb, or at least it did me. Just keep doing your routine
and things will get better. We are here for you.

Hello Shannon, and a warm welcome from the north of England! Your
knowledge will soon expand here - and not just on the subject of yarn!
Since "joining up" I've tried knitting with tee shirts, crocheting
with plastic bags, doing doilies and goodness knows what else.
Haven't tried Mirjam's moebius or Els' kumihimo though... yet ;-)
