Default Checking In

Hi RCTYers!

Just wanted to check in (seeing as i have a nice bank holiday) and say
hello. Cher kindly passed on your messages to me and it was so lovely
to hear from you all that i made a mental note to get on as soon as i
could (not easy now blummin aol has dropped newsgroups).

All is well with me- i had a great time as temporary events
coordinator but (serendipitously) just as i was about to apply for the
permanent (part time) position i was approached with a full time
research position. It is researching patients' experiences with oral
chemotherapy- particularly the methods of delivering education in
order to minimise side effects and raise quality of life. It is
definitely a challenge- but i believe it has great merit.

On the craft side my time has been reduced (a new job with a commute
has made me bushed) but i still slot in as much as i can lol. I am
loving my spinning and am currently working on some truly deliciousl
silk and wool from the silkworker. I have lots of projects planned-
something with some natural wools next.

I have a shawl on my needles which is turning out to be a fun knit,
and a sock in my handbag- for the times i end up hanging around
waiting for others. I could really do with knitting in clinic as
there is so much hanging about but there is no corner to sit in and i
am not sure that my boss would be impressed g.

I hope all is well from you- i think of you all often.

regards
Sarah

Hi Sarah Grace,

Oh, it's great to see you again, been missing you. Your new job sounds
really great, more research needs to be done along those lines.

I'm happy you can still do some crafting.

Hugs,

Nora
