Default Sashing

I am working on a quilt from
http://www.sullivans.net/usa/Pages/u.../farm/farm.htm

I have made it into Queen size
I started out cutting the 17 ( 42) in my case.. and cutting out the 10 (35)
in my case...
The 35 I cut out I am already out of and need to cut more.
How Did I mess up on the Sashing..
(pS) Sashing sure is hard working with 1" strips
But I got two rows finished yesterday, I can only hope it gets easer as I go
along.

That's pretty! Did you use the same colors? I like the secondary design.
IMO when it's so narrow, it's not fair to call it sashing any more -it's an
accent strip!

nope Roberta, I used reds navy blue
I am almost done with the top.. I just need to add the boarder and the
outside on the sashing..
Once I start to pin it ( I hope over the weekend) I will snap a photo of it.
