Pretty much anything SWMBO buys, actually.
As to dust collectors of the shop variety, are you looking for a vacuum or one of those overhead filter jobbies? "jim" wrote in message news:XK%2c.39475$1k.34495@okepread01... Does anyone have plans for a home built dust collector?? |

I use a Delta collector into a box covered with hardware cloth when sanding.
Nothing special, just the square plastic fitting they sell for the bottom of contractors' saws attached to a 2" deep box of the same size with hardware cloth retained by a second rabbeted frame over it. I set it on my lap with one of those traveler's neck pillows to cushion my knees and have at it. I'm a gouge and mallet carver, so nothing will pick up the big chunks, but I imagine it would work for a burr carver. "jim" wrote in message news723c.40269$1k.33991@okepread01...
