German Grocery Store Roombox

When we in Germany in the early 80's, we bought a German grocery store
roombox. We unfortunately didn't get history on the piece which
included dozens of "products" along with working scales and cash
register -- does anyone know of a good reference source for us to go
to/buy that would provide us research information? Thank you.

There is a mini museum in Delaware that has a German display. Their website
is http://thomes.net/toys/ The owner of the museum will probably be happy
to help you especially if you live near enough to visit. It is a nice
museum.
I thought there was a museum in Germany but a Google search didn't turn up
one and found one in Switzerland.

German dollhouse miniatures are still being made and some of your things may
still be in production. The German minis are often off scale, too large
for 1/12 scale and closer to 1/10 scale.
