"Fabric" in glass

You should see what Leah Fairbanks does with copper mesh:

I think she only has one where you can see the mesh, but the way she
buries it in layers of glass makes it look like an abandoned garden
gate, or a graing in a koi pond. She has some that's more gratelike, and
some where it was the woven copper fabric.

Sterling silver is sort of a lichen green color in glass-- I have a small paper
weight a local glass blower made. She rolled the core in ss scraps/shavings
from a jewelry maker, then encased it in more clear glass.

Maybe chrome? I think that was one of the colorants for green glazes.... So is
Cupric Oxide-- although you need something else in it to get green-- just what
depends on your kiln atmosphere.
