Hmmm - good question. I'm thinking of what I've seen lately. Did you
finish the Drawn Thread Toccata? You could look at some of her other
pieces. Depending on what you want.

Take a look at some Martina Weber's latest - the Mermaid Box - it's STUNNING
(we got 2, sold them, and now I'm re-ordering for me). There are always the
huge, lovely Mandela garden charts. Link is to the box, but I always like
browsing Martina's site.

Something a bit smaller - Sweetheart Tree did some really nice Biscornus
recently.

Queenstown Sampler has a new repro, Hestera Harmer (Barbara brought it to
the shop and Donna & I drooled a bit - though it's not my thing).
http://www.queenstown-sampler-designs.com/

Ellen Chester - "With my Needle" - she released the Mermaid piece this
spring - it's a nice set of goodies, and the quaker turtles are also
adorable.
http://www.withmyneedle.com/

Workbasket just released some really, really pretty quaker pieces.
http://www.theworkbasket.net/new

Oh - Rosewood Manor - the "And a Garden Grew" is gorgeous - and IIRC
primarily XS
http://www.rosewoodxstitch.com/catalog.php?category=31

Can always take a look back at Indigo Rose - I finally saw "The Sempstress"
in person - and the piece is beautiful - the chart picture just doesn't
convey.

Sampler Cove - The Rhapsody in Red series is really nice. As is the "Siam
Fusion (gorgeous blues/teals)
http://www.samplercovedesigns.com/index.html

Papillon - I really like New World and am going to kit it up soon for me:
http://www.europeanxs.com/cgi-bin/general.pl?papillon-

Well, just a few ideas. Next time I'm in the shop (Sunday I'm teaching)
I'll see what's new and fabulous!

So many gorgeous things and so little time.

The Mermaid Box is awesome and definitely going on the list.

Thanks much. There are certainly some lovely things to choose from and the
Mermaid Box is already whispering to me. I need to study a little more
before I decide, but there certainly are some stunning things out there.

You just had to ask about Toccata didn't you? lol

It's all kitted up and sitting at the top of the pile but I have yet to put
needle to fabric. I've suddenly been struck with guilt about the gifts I
owed. I've got one almost done, another just started and one that is
already up on the wall at my sister-in-law's house.

It definitely will be next.

A good place to drool it is; I want Flower Patch.

Here's another - I've actually asked Ellice to order this for me

Ooh, that's nice. I like the Calla Lily:

http://www.merreydesign.com/Calla.html

I second Sampler Cove - I have Thriller in my stash:

http://www.samplercovedesigns.com/co...riller_big.jpg

On another note, today at HL I noticed they are carrying some more
Jack Dempsey stuff (or at least it's a first for my HL) - They had the
boy and girl sampler:

http://www.jdneedleart.com/searchres...?CategoryID=16

Last Supper: http://www.jdneedleart.com/searchres...?CategoryID=18

and a couple of others. Even if it's not my thread in the needle,
it's nice to see something beside XS there!

LOL - another of the us thinking alike. I so love Martina's Mermaid box.
It was one of those rare moments in the shop when I really say "I'm going to
grab that" and too late - gone - and I'm sad. It is a gorgeous piece - I
had even studied through the whole chart/instructions. So, undoubtedly I'll
just order it soon...

Umm, well, since you got that just about when I got the other Toccata -
which is still a virginal kit. And my Love & Wisdom piece is still sitting
at the 35% done point. But, that is coming up into rotation.

It's all kitted up and sitting at the top of the pile but I have yet to put
needle to fabric. I've suddenly been struck with guilt about the gifts I

I understand. I've been spending much time stitching teaching pieces -
which I like, but wouldn't be my first choice necessarily. And those really
have to be done.
