Default OT - Any Brits want a magazine?

Hiya folks,
I have received (once again!) 2 Hancock's catalogues and 2 Keepsake
Quilting catalogues. If there is a Brit out there that would like
either or both of these, let me know at my strathclyde address!

Hi Jo,

If your extra magazines haven't been snapped up already I would love
to have them. I went to the Keepsake website earlier in the week and
couldn't find any information about shipping so I assumed they didn't
ship to the U.K. am I wrong?

I tried your strathclyde email address but it just bounced right back
to me.

Do Keepsake ship to the UK? Is the Pope Catholic?

Not only do they ship to the UK, but really fast too - as long as you
tell them on the phone that you want Airmail on top of the
international postage charge. Otherwise its a six-week-plus wait as it
swims across the pond on an old tramp steamer...

I guess that would save me the job of pre-washing!

My last order came to over $100, postage was $6.99 plus $15.99 plus
$4.65 (ish) for airmail, I rang them on a Monday evening our time, and
my package arrived 7.30am on the Saturday morning!

That's pretty good. I placed an order of about the same with Big Horn
Quilts just after the postal strike finished and the first half has
arrived, but still waiting on the second. I'm going to leave it a
couple of days and maybe contact them.

I've always found them really helpful when you ring them - as soon as
they discover you're ringing from the UK they are great, and try to
process your order as speedily as possible so as to avoid a huge phone
bill!

I just called them, don't know why I didn't just do that in the first
place! I thought that I couldn't order from the website but the lady
I spoke to said there is a link on the registration page for
international customers. When I went back to the page and used my
eyes I saw it, clear as day at the top of the page *sigh* that'll
teach me.

Suzie B
(NAYY - just one very happy customer!) And my Keepsake catalogue
arrived on Friday, and I'm still pawing through it!

Thanks for the information Suzie, very helpful. Well... not so sure
my CC will like it, but still.

Hiya,
I still need your street address. If Strathclyde doesn't work,
reply to this message. I am home in Dundee as I type, on the tesco
account. I tried emailing to your hotmail but it bounced!

I can be reached during the week at johanna.gibson at strathclyde.ac.uk .... make obvious corrections to address

I have to admit your address is rubbery as well! I fixed the sig
line though, so try this:
