Default Looking for a needlework group in Los Angeles Area

((I hope I'm posting to the correct group!))

I recently moved to the LA area and am looking for a
crafting/needlework group in this area. I think it would be a great
way to meet others who enjoy this hobby. I'd even been willing to
start up a group, if needed. Anyone interested?

Thanks...

The American Needlepoint Guild has several chapters in the LA area. Go
to http://www.needlepoint.org/chapters/California.htm and see if any of
them are near you.

LA area

That covers a *lot* of territory, since it includes parts of Ventura, all of LA
and Orange, and parts of San Diego, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties.

If you go he
http://www.egausa.org/directory/us-ca.htm

You'll find an EGA guild perhaps close to you.
The other idea is to use your telephone book to find needlework shops,
call (or visit) them to see if they have stitching activities.
