Default Opinions on Knitting Digest?

Just got an e-mail from FreePatterns.com touting this magazine. I
really don't need any more temptation! But thought I'd ask here what
experiences you all have had w/KD.

Hi Spampot,
I got the same email, but from Annie's Attic... free trial issue, free
pattern, etc.
I really don't need it either, but am going to watch your thread here,
to see what others think.
Hugs,
Noreen

I haven't seen a copy of Knitting Digest for some time but in the past they
had some nice patterns and the instructions were generally clear and easy to
follow. Most of the designs I remember were not very complicated.

I like it. It is compact, so easily portable. There are usually a couple of
patterns in it I would like to do, and the patterns are readable. It is
seasonal, which is good. Lots of people say that the patterns are too
simple, but I don't see that as a problem. It is one which I make sure to
buy. Most of the time, the yarns used are easy to get, or it is easy to find
a substitute. I cannot say that for some knitting magazines!

Thanks, KB & everyone for their input. I'm still mulling it over.

Spampot,

If you have a local newstand around you maybe able to pick up a copy there to
look through. I know mine have it.

Hugs,

Nora
