Default Quilting Week Over, Fun Continues!

Well, the "OFFICIAL" Annual RCTQ Quilting Week is
over. (That would be as Official as anything can
get in RCTQ Land!)

It was fun to read the announcements of quilting
activities during the week. That took me by
surprise. This annual January event started as a
lark ... to jump start quilting in the new year.
Wendy and I kind of instigated this. Since the two
of us celebrate birthdays in January, it kind of
evolved around those dates. Since I cannot share
my real birthday cake with all of you, this was a
fun way to celebrate instead!! Thank you to those
who celebrated too.

Now that the "Official" Quilting Week is over,
please keep up the momentum and enjoy quilt making
*all* year long!!

Quilting is fun ... the Queen has Spoken!

I desperately need some quilting time today! g DH and I have been
jumping through hoops to try to get our taxes finished, and we became
terribly frustrated when TurboTax didn't want to let us change a number
we needed to change. I *think* I've figured out now, but DH has gone out
for some R&R -- I'm hoping to take a little while for myself now and
find out later that my solution was the right one. G
