Dec. 2004 QNM
Hello!
I am looking for information found in the article on Party quilts. I recently bought the Jan/ Feb issue but it says it is a part 2. Do you have the part 1? Please email me privately. Thank you so much! Natalie (NS) |

Howdy!
QNM offers the magazine's back issues: http://home.stny.rr.com/jazzmanian/janquilt.JPG (better to buy it that risk a violation of copyright laws) A synopsis of the Dec. article: several pictures of signed quilts w/ personalized blocks & descriptions of who made the quilts and why. No instructions are included. Tips include how to prepare for the project, mostly: what's your time allowance? Also, deciding which method to use, either on-the-spot signing so that the blocks are immediately returned to you or going postal, i.e. waiting for the signatures to show up in the mail (maybe waiting forever), signed by non-quilters who don't understand about seam allowances ("sign between the lines!"). Comparing part 1 w/ part 2: looks like you got the better of the 2 articles. Ragmop/Sandy "Scorpio" wrote in message oups.com... Hello!
