The most beautiful recycling clothes we used to do was to take men's
trousers and turn them into lovely pants for the ladies. The fabric usually
is of an outstanding quality; our favorites were USNavy and US Air Force but
some guy's Sunday suit was very good too. We don't have any use for fine
grade wool fabric here in the Swamp but recycling men's pants is terrific if
you can wear wool. Polly

Hey, If I got that sewing machine tattoo and wore it with the bikini
from the t-shirt how many folk do you think would run scared?

There is an old vintage Singer sewing booklet that is all re-making
clothes during war time when things were so scarce.
Thanks for the links Jeanne.
