State of play in the crafts world.
Two of our friends reported back on a big show they did in one of the
"Stately Homes". One man last year took three thousand pounds in ONE DAY. This year he took twenty pounds. And those shows are not cheap. The table money for the shows are being raised to cover rising ( make that rapidly rising ) costs. So we are cutting down on shows, especially in marquees. Sales are dropping in all of the galleries that I know. Do you reckon there will be swing up. Any predictions? -- Jackdaw collector of junk, trivia and bright twinkly things.
