Maureen has inherited cross stitch kit #2313 "Paperwork" from "Design
Works Inc, 170 Wilbur Plains. NY 11716". Has anyone on this list ever
encountered kits from this company?

I do have one of their kits, Bruce, #2419, "Sebastian". I haven't done
it yet, but it looks like it will be a fun little design to work up.
It's a black cat waving a fan with it's tail. DD is cat-mad! What is
Maureen's design?

Maureen says the kit is very difficult and the floss supplied is often
very short (under 6 inches sometimes) and colours are very similar, she
wondered whether anyone else encountered the same difficulties.

That's a pain when that happens. I opened my kit, and it looks fine. I
don't think the supply of floss is overly generous, but it should be
sufficient. I certainly don't have any six inch lengths to deal with!
Since the address is included, I'd get in touch and ask for the
colours that are short. I've had this happen twice before with other
companies, and both quickly sent along the supplies I needed.
Otherwise, she could try to match the thread with something she has in
her stash. Hope that helps!

Louisa
