Default question regarding bead hole size

Hello all,

If this question has been asked and answered, please disregard.

I am new to beading and am wondering if you would be so kind as to
help me out. I am creating a neclace using 6mm simulated pearls. I
want to use three 11mm beads as accents. I am using wire to string
the pearls (forming eye loops with 24 ga wire and round nose pliers).

My problem is with the size of the holes in the 11mm beads. How do I
incorporate them? Any and all tips will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

V

I'm not sure what question you're asking. But if the the bead hole is too
big for the string, either stuff the hole with smaller beads (string them on
string already strung with small beads) or put a bead on each end od the
hole that will center the string in the hole.

What I do if hole sizes are too large is to put a small silver or glass seed
bead on first and slip the larger beads over that for stability. Good luck!

Try to obtain smaller-gauge wire if you can -- or wire findings -- for the
pearls. I know my LBS sells it.

What sort of wire are you using? Sterling silver regular wire-wire, or
stringing wire (such as Softflex)?

My problem is with the size of the holes in the 11mm beads. How do I
incorporate them? Any and all tips will be greatly appreciated.
