I just started a pair today. I've never made them before, so this is a test
run for me.

They were like my third knitting project ever and turned out really
well. They are really easy and I've gotten more compleiments on them
wearing them iwth my Birks.

I tried a pair with the recommended yarn and needles and they turned out to
be way too huge for me. (And, I think, way to huge for most women.) I knit
on the loose side, I know, but this was exceedingly loose. I want to try
them again, because I think they're a fast fun pattern and a neat way to use
up ends, but I'll have to figure out the proportions. Anybody else find
them coming out largish?

I found I need to use WW and size 8 needles. I wear a size 9 shoe.
