Loctite 330 Adhesive

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has experience of using Loctite 330 adhesive?

My particular application is gluing gold to ivory.
I have had a couple of bad experiences with joints coming apart after using
Araldite, both normal cure and "rapid". I originally thought it was due to
over stressing a small joint area but now believe the joint fails due to the
friction heat from abrasive paper.
Loctite 330 has been recommended but I have no experience of that adhesive.

Any information, help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I've used Loctite to give added security to screw type fastners/findings,
especially hand made. Something about the way I move makes them come apart
as I wear them, sending the pendant etc flying. I fear the same happening to
jewelery I've sold, so add a drop to the screw thread for piece of mind. So
far I've not had any problems with it.
