Default Book question

What is the most comprehensive book on colored gemstones currently available
and where can I get it? I have a rather outdated one by Joel Arem (which I
still use and adore) but would really like to update my information. I am not
a gemologist -- just someone who loves colored gems.

Thank you.
Mary

Keeping up is probably best done with a subscription to Colored Stone or
maybe a gemological assoc. publication.
Also check www.yourgemologist.com (especially the forums for specific
questions) and www.gemsociety.org
There may be different sources depending on whether you cut, collect or
trade.
