that soudns wonderful!

My family like it when I cook sweet potatoes with sultanas and cinnamon;

Heat oil in a pan, and add a stick of cinnamon or pinch of powdered
cinnamon and a chopped onion. Fry for about 3 minutes, then add sliced
sweet potato, and fry for a bit longer. When the onions are beginning to
go brown, and the potato is starting to change colour, add about half a
pint of water, a pich of salt, a tsp dried ginger, a couple of handfuls of
sultanas, a tsp of sugar and maybe a sprinkling of cayenne pepper.

Cover, and cook gently for about 10 minutes, or until the potatoes are
soft.

Mirjam, Since I'm allergic to anise could you just steam me a sweet
potato?

Kirsten, Now for the real question, what's sultanas? The recipe sounds
wonderful but I haven't a clue about sultanas.
