Bali fabric deals??
Check out www.bighornquilts.com their batiks are reasonably priced.
Also, there is www.batiksetc.com - they have a similar club to Keepsake's. They even have one that is called never miss a batik - they will send you one of everything that crosses thier threshold. I did this in fat 16ths for a while, but it can cost a fortune if they get a lot of stock in all at once. I am going to make a bunch of quilts with those small pieces though. I've already made one. they have an extensive collection of batiks and can probably fill any gaps you may have. Cheap? No! Hand dyed fabrics are easier than you think. You will need to experiment a little, and I'd recommend starting with PFD (prepared for dyeing) fabric so you get great results, but you will be able to get the solidish fabrics in any color you can mix successfully. You can also buy almost any color under the sun premixed, but that would cost a fortune. If you want to buy hand dyes you can check out www.joysfabrics.com NAYY Carol in TX Need therapy?
