Default star pattern search

I'm having a vague memory that's driving me crazy. I remember seeing a
star pattern made up in a display in a fabric store... it's been maybe 15
years ago. The thing is, I can't remember the name of this particular block
and so I can't search it on the internet - well, I have tried, but no luck.
The distinct thing about this pattern is that it has a large piece for the
center and smallish points... and the most distinct thing is that this star
looks like it's been stretched to the right and leaning that way. Save my
sanity and tell me what this is! It's been out long enough that a lot of
people should have seen it (I hope)!

I think that's called a "stretched star". clever huh? It's a pattern that
is made in strips with rectangles and corner triangles. If that doesn't
help you find the pattern, I will get back with the directions. Several
women in my small group have made it.

Or try shooting star or maybe elegant star??? There is one that is made with
a variation on the Indian Hatchet pattern.
