I have contributed to Teena's preemie quilt project in the past. Also
helped with tying quilts for the local chapter of Project Linus. One of
the quilts I helped tied ended up in the hands of my neighbour (adopted
by lesbian couple after years in foster care, has problems adapting and
in school - we thing she is a sweet girl, though she can get a little
rough with DH!). I also sent a quilt once to the victims of the florida
fires (I pieced the tops from blocks I received and passed it on).
Donated a couple more quilts, some small WH for my guinea pig
shelter.... nothing lately, though I keep planning to send stuff to Jill
for her pets... just never got to it.

Hi Mary,
As a group, my guild does quilts for the local police departments, firemen
and sheriff's deputies to carry in their cars for children that need them..
I think I did 4 or 6 last year, I can't remember for sure.

I'm the director of the Food Pantry in my town and make quilts for my
clients' kids and new babies.
