On the first day of xmas DH and me went shopping at the boxing day sales!
Yep and spent close to $300 on new xmas decos for next year - saved 50% on everything but could not find the ONE THING we wanted - a fibre optic HUGE xmas tree! That reminds me of the tree the old couple across the street had when I was a kid. It was a chromy metallic artificial tree, and they had a light shining on it with a turning color gel wheel. I used to sit at the window and watch it change colors, especially when I was little and didn't know yet how it did it. We had an artificial tree for years when I was little. I used to help put it together when I got old enough. We later switched to real trees, during my late teens, I think. I forget what kind we got. JA - now preferring fraser firs: less needle loss, strong branches for the big ornaments. |

We got one !!
