Both of my maternal grandparents are from Ireland so I grew up going
to Celtic festivals and have had a love of Celtic ever since. Same with
weddings -- and the party *after* the reception. VBS -- the hotel
reminds me of the hotel we stayed at last time we were in Ireland --
Arnold's in Dunfanaghy, Donegal Co.
When we stayed in Glasgow, we stayed in one of the big chain hotels
-- Marriott or something similar. But when we went on day trips, we
usually had lunch in a little place very reminiscent of the hotel for
sale in Stronsay. Hopefully we will be able to return again one of
these days. I don't know if it's in the genes but I am unbelievably
comfy when in Ireland & Scotland. I will always remember Granny telling
me that NO ONE was 100% Irish or 100% Scottish. She said there was so
much raiding across the water that everyone was part Irish and Part
Scottish -- LOLOL! CiaoMeow ^;;^
