Oh joy, I have finished Frederick the Literate! I am *so* sick of
working on black. He is destined to be an end of school year gift for
DS's teacher, so no hurry in getting to the framer. I'm just relieved
to put the Mag-eyes away for a while.

Sara

Oh wonderful! My daughter and I are both doing him, but I think we`ve both
put him on the back burner for now. I still have Maggie the Messmaker
awaiting attention - but too many other things need finishing first.

Congratulations Sara! What a wonderful gift

It's fun to hear you and Pat talking about these patterns. I have
these designs as collector plates, and have all 10 of them. When I
look at them I will think of you both, and all the many colour changes
there must be.

take care, Linda

Oh, I found a set of coasters and table mats with Frederick on them! I`m
just about Fredericked out! Maggie got hold of one and chewed it when she
was a puppy, so I keep looking for replacements. I haven`t seen the
collector plates though. In many ways I hope I don`t - my walls are
overfilled anyway!

WTG!

It's such a cute piece, and I've been tempted from time to time.

I got the place mats when I was in England about a year and a half ago. I
can't recall where I found it though. It may have been in Worcestershire.

I bought the kit on sale. It is still in the "If I live a hundred more
years, what will I stitch" box!

Maybe I will put it up for auction on the cross-stitch auction.

http://www.quins-auction.com/

Stuff doesn't move fast here, but no-one rips you off eith shipping, and
it is non-commercial, unlike Ebay!! It is also free.

I don't own it etc, but I am a member and utilise it!!

Frederick`s not as daunting as it looks, Gill - honest! I`ll have a look at
that site - I`m heartily sick of Ebay. Thanks for that.

That is why I do put very little stuff on Ebay. Our Ebay here is 95%
commercial Internet sales. The Quins auction is non-commercial.
However, you have to find smeone who wants what you have to sell. There
are no fees, and most of us charge straight postage; or very little
handling. I WILL not charge a handling fee anywhere!

No affiliation and so om and so on!!
