Default WTB: Looking for Used Heavy Duty Leather Sewing Machine

I'm looking for a used heavy duty leather machine. I do some leather
work and have been hand sewing all of my holsters and gun belts. I'm
looking for a good machine that will sew over 1/2 inch. I don't want
anything made in China.... If any one has a machine in good working
order, or knows of a business selling out please email me at
.

Thanks.

I am sorry to not have a link to give you, but I know I have seen a few
places on the web that specialize in used industrial machines that have
quite a few for sale. I'm sure if you googled for "reconditioned
industrial sewing machine" or "used industrial sewing machine" or
something like that, you'd find one.

Also look on the "411" sites and type in category of business. A lot of the
industrial machine dealers do not have websites, but you can track them down
through their phone listings. That way you can choose a dealer closer to
you and save on the shipping - an important detail (especially when
considering parts and repairs). A reputable dealer will want you to send
samples of what you sew the most as well as details on thickness. They will
also ask you to send the threads that you are planning to use. (This is for
them to most accurately tool the machine to your particular needs.)
