Default Clothing dying

Hi everyone!

I have a pair of black pants that I LOVE, and they have started to fade
and look horrible. They are 98% cotton, 2% spandex. I have heard that
it should be fairly easy to dye them back to a nice dark black, but I'm
not very crafty or anything, so I was hoping to get some advice on
dyes, where to buy, and process. Any help or advice is very much
appreciated!

Get a packet of Dylon washing machine dye, and follow the instructions
carefully, it's that easy. Personally, I'd then put them back through
the rinse cycle a couple of times before I wore them (or be prepared for
grubby-looking knickers and bum to occur).

Very easy to do in a glass or stainless steel vessel. Use almost any easily
available dye (follow the directions!) or contact Dharma Trading for their
very informative catalogue which gives hints and has an awesome array of
product. (No affiliation, just appreciate good suppliers: they ship
promptly and I have had no troubles even though I live in Canada and they
are in California.)

Thanks to everyone!! You gals are so helpful, I think even someone as
un-crafty as myself can manage this task!
