I know how to weave a `basket weave` cloth on my loom, i know how to
knit a basket pattern ? but just now can`t recall a basket weave
CROCHET pattern , only one that comes to mind is the afghan /tunisian
pattern ???? can you describe the pattern a bit more ,,

But any crochet can be decreased by just doubling a stitch . mirjam

Are you talking about the one that starts with 'one weave' works its way up
to say 30 weaves across and then goes back down to "one weave"? Afghan
commonly known as 'Idiot's Delight"? It starts out with one, works it's way
to howsoever wide you want: either a square or rectangle. and then you work
your way back down to one 'square or weave' when you're finished. If so, I
just finished doing one like that and I'll dig the pattern out for you.

Default decreasing basket weave

Picked up a free pattern at Michaels that is titled:

Crochet Corner to Corner Throw.
The decrease directions are as follows:
With CC, slip stitch across first 3 dc *(slip st, ch 3, 3 dc) all in the
next ch-3 space of previous row; repeat from * to last ch-3 space; slip st
in last space; turn, do NOT make a block in last space-95 blocks.

If you need anymore help, I can scan and send the pattern directions on to
you. (Email me at: Butterfly-Wings at cox dot net)

I know it's been a bit since you requested the info, and I did remember
having the pattern, it just took a while to put my hands back on it.
