http://www.flickr.com/photos/onetexsun/ I posted a photo of the
second motif on my Crazy Quilt block. Class is over, and now I'm going
to finish the block. I made a huge mistake -- I made the second motif
at right angle to the first one. So hanging on the wall, one will be
'visually disconcerting' as one of my classmates observed today. Oh
well, perfection is for those of a pay grade way, way, way above
mine.

It looks great and I don't find it to be visually disconcerting at
all!

So do a 3rd motif facing upside down. Very pretty!

I agree with Roberta on that! Which side is "right side up?" depends
on the direction from which you look at it! This way, all directions
are covered!!

That is so pretty. It is a crazy quilt. Anything should go. Most looking
is up close to appreciate all the work. The 3rd direction seems a good way
to work with that. This is how to learn. Keep plugging away.
I am enjoying the heck out of your work.
