What's your pleasure? I am told that I make a mean pizza - my cinnamon

buns
are more than slightly decadent, I could barbeque a couple of freshly

caught
rainbow trout or dolly vardens - or do up some Filipino-style pork shish
kebabs. My hubby likes fillet piquant: halibut fillets baked with bread
crumbs, butter (lots!), vinegar, lemon, Worcestershire sauce, and a touch

of
prepared mustard. I'm not big on seafood 'cause I grew up eating it all

the
time, but my hubby and son love it. Or:- we could order Chinese and spend
the time fondling fabric.....!

Oh-oh-oh!!! I'm really good at getting carpets clean!!!! LOL Between the
kids and animals, I think I've cleaned it all.... Ugh!!!!

---I vote for take out and fabric fondling.

After laughing out loud, drying my tears i focus on this part:

"F. M.," she says, "but, they gave me your number, and I _Really
Need_ this dress made! I've bought the pattern, and my daughter needs
the dress for prom, and the dress shop wants $110.00 for a dress, and I
don't want to pay that! I want to have it made cheaper!, and...--"

A ball gown cheaper that $110 ????? Wow, some people want it all, and for
nothing as well!!

But she had the pattern.... LOLnew tears to dry

Well, on second thought, she probably could go to China and have it made
for less..... (best innocent look)

Ask anyone that ever fixed electronic items or computers about that.
Everyone wants it done yesterday for free, and why can't you pay for the
parts.

Strange how many people seem to think that if you work nights, you just give
up sleeping.

Silly woman should go to some of the higher end thrift
shops in her area. They tend to be loaded with beautiful
dresses, worn once, for much less than $110, even if you
have them cleaned before wearing. Plus whatever she paid
would go to a good cause. I have no problem with wanting
to save money on something like that, but she needs to
get realistic!!!

But then again, it could cost them a lot more! A few years ago, a young
lady was in Vietnam and bought two prom dresses for her twin sisters (she
was lucky in that they all were the same size so she did the fittings...).
One dress turned out beautifully and the other was a mess. She brought it
home anyway because the fabric was so beautiful and had me remake the dress
for her sister. However: she gave me lots of time and did not quibble at
all about any costs involved!
