Klementyna,

The most common chemical used to color silver is Liver of Sulphur. It
should be available from any jewelry supplier in your area. Liver of
Sulphur (LoS) produces colors ranging from gold to vivid blues, purples and
then into browns and eventually black. Here is one of my pieces showing
some of the lighter range possible with LoS. This is reticulated silver,
with LoS applied by a combination of dipping and brushing, then sealed with
clear gloss lacquer.

You can get different effects by adding salt or household ammonia to the LoS
solution, as well. So play with it a bit and see what you get!

You can also get a lovely set of colors through heating the silver with your
torch. You will not have as much control over the results, but with
practice I have seen some very pretty results. The key is to do the heat
patina as the very last step in fabrication, then "seal" the result as soon
as you have finished, to prevent them from fading or oxidizing further. To
do that, I usually allow the piece to cool completely, then use spray
lacquer.

I hope this helps,
