Default Big step for me

I usually am very quiet and stay in the background when with a group. My DD
and DH keep encouraging me to share in person some of my quilts. Well,
tonight when DD and I went to our sampler club, I took a show and tell. The
pattern was featured last month. I got the obligatory applause but the
women in front of me asked more questions after I sat down. Then afterwards
while in line to buy some thread and FQs, I heard women behind me discussing
a pattern one was going to buy. I perked up when one said, "Oh, that's the
rooster quilt." That was MY QUILT!!!!

Mary I love it! I truly do! That pattern looks so very intriguing and it
took me awhile to work out the "blocks" in it. Who designed it? And I
adore the background fabric - well done!

I really enjoyed strolling through your quilt album. I think my
favorite was the Construction quilt... I like the way you sashed the
9-patches and snowballs, and such bright colours!
Thanks for sharing!

Good for you!! It's darling. But I'm still going to nag you about the Dewey
Blocks. I think that will be stunning, and you've already done all the hard
work, no?

Wow! Mary, that's beautiful -- and I'd never have thought I'd use that
particular adjective in reference to a rooster quilt! g I love the
graphic way you set it and the fabrics you used. Good job!

That's a cool pattern for using with a large print. The quilt is wonderful!

For me the piecing is easy and fun. The quilting is the hard work.
