Here is a link to my May Blocks of the Month. Boy, did I ever have a
hard time with points on both of these! I must've done more UN-sewing
than sewing on the pieced block, and it was almost as bad on the paper
pieced one!

I especially like the PP one. I had hoped to work on mine today but that
hasn't happened.

Thanks. Once I finally finished it I liked it, too, but I didn't like
it while I was making it!!!

I know how that "hoping" works - sometimes you just never get around
to what you hoped to do.

They look beautiful! The colors in that Paper Pieced one are just
stunning and the blue in the regular pieced one looks almost three
dimensional! Great job!

Thank you! These blocks are quite a challenge for me. I hope I will
follow through and end up with enough blocks to put together a quilt
for my mom. I was telling her about it and she said that she might
not even be around anymore if I were only doing two blocks a month for
a year! (She's a very healthy and feisty 84-year-old still living
quite independently, driving, doing her own cleaning, cooking, and
yardwork! I told her she'd probably still be around long after I was
gone!)

Thanks! I think this will end up being a very lively quilt and I hope
that if it ends up going to my mom, which I plan, it won't end up
keeping her up at night!
