Default a question for you all..

I am putting together a quilt of my own design and I have been asked to
write a book on how I went about doing the quilt.. I have no idea of how to
go about doing something like this.. I can *tell* how to do it but I am not
one that would or could sit and write out a book.. Is there people that can
help put together a book like that with someone else?!

This is what they watched me putting together last weekend on a flannel wall
that I would kill to have in my own home....

Deb:
Who is it that asked you to write a book? If you were invited by
a major publisher, surely the company would supply guide lines
and advice, and of course an editor. Perhaps you would do just as
well to write a pattern. Another option is to send a photo of
your quilt design to a major quilting magazine and when they
purchase it, let them write the instructions.

Hi Pat, ..... Well I have been asked by two quilt store owners, one online
and one offline, and more then 20 different people that have seen my
Dragon....
I take it you can not send URLs with a post as the URL that I sent didn't
come in when I wrote it in here..
people.delphiforums.com/DEBI1116TC/sewingNight.jpg just put http:// on the
front of this to see the pictures if you want to see them..

Hullo Deb
If you can 'tell' but are chary about 'writing', then do just that; but
tell it into a tape recorder. Have your recorder beside you as you work
and say anything that comes into your head as you work that people might
be helped by knowing. Then you can get a secretary person (or yourself)
to type the recording out. Then it will just need editing and putting
in order. As PAT said, the publishers would/should help with that.
