Looking for DIY websites on scrimshawing bone, horn, palm nuts, etc.
Also any good books on same.

A book put out by William Gilkerson called " the Scrimshander"
printed by Troubador Press in San Francisco.It has some beautifull
examples of his work and can be inspiring.
I don't know how much you know about the art but it has been
pretty well ruined by people using photoetching and duplicating
machines.
If I can be of further assistance post to this news group because I
lurk here quite a bit.
