spray primer
A housepainter used a spray primer when we hired him to paint the trim
on our (full-sized) house. It was quick and easy (don't remember the brand). Has anyone used it on a dollhouse? And what were their results? Cathy Weeks |

And what were their results? I spray everything these days, it's so much easier. Spray primer, spray paint, spray gloss finish on the furniture. I've used KILZ on wood with dark streaks, pieces of a house I was rebuilding after it had been improperly stored, which has worked well. I've also used a primer for hobbyists from Games Workshop, because it has a very fine application which is good for miniature work. Dawn |

I apply it with a foam brush as it gives a nice smooth finish. I use foam brushes for all painting. I would hesitate using a spray on trim because you need a thin coat so that details show up. I always prime with spray primer, especially when painting polystyrene (like
Chrysnbon). I use a light coat and don't lose any detail. I paint with either spray or brush, depending on what the color I want comes in. |
