The Glass Cartel in Italy pretty much does what it pleases. The German

glass
palette is definitely limited. The Japanese glass, almost too soft to work
with. Our greatest hope probably lies in the Bullseye folks. US glass...

And
they are nice to work with. I hope to have more Bullseye to play with
someday.

Ocean ocean ocean. Teal, blue, green -- all swirly. No bumps. (What is it
with the bumps? Am I the only one who doesn't get the bumps?)

bumps are tactile, and deep looking. I love them, but some do and some
don't.

Wow - lots of great responses!! Before we get too much into this, I need to
tell you all about a few things I won't do, so that you won't be
disappointed when I don't have a set in what you asked for.

I don't do organics - hardly ever. There are plenty of artists who do, and
are really good at it. I like geometrics and that's what I am good at. I
do swirls and such - but that's about as organic as I get.

I don't use metallics - no silver, gold, copper - unless it is already in
the glass I am using (like copper green for instance). This is mostly
because of safety reasons - my studio is in my home and not separated enough
from the rest of the house, so it's not safe to have that stuff in the air.
I have a mask, but the kitties and hubby do not. I don't use frits, powders
and enamels for the same reason.

That being said, I don't use ivory very much, and I don't ever do silvered
ivory. I am not fond of the effects of the ivory for some reason. On
occasion, I will, but not very often. Same goes for dark turquoise.

I also don't do animal print beads, dichro, encased florals (very often),
bicones, cones, vessels, fish, frogs, or sculptural beads (other than raised
florals and tabs and hearts) - mostly because there are a plethora of
artists out there who do these way better than I, and I am not in love with
doing them.

I encase occasionally, and have to really want to do it. Most of the time,
it's for color effect. I rarely use much basic blue, basic yellow and basic
green - I like the off colors more. So you won't see much cobalt or kelly
from me, although I will make exceptions from time to time.

My favorites are raised florals, scrolling beads, layered dots of all kinds
(twisted and not twisted) and hearts.
I am beginning to really like making cubes and rectangular cabs as well.

Oooookay - commence with the requests. I am taking notes and have
already made some beads. I am going to go down the list of color combos and
requests all week long, so if you don't see what you posted right away,
don't worry.
