Default how to use this beadtip?

When I learned basic beadwork a few months ago, I learned how to use the
beadtips where you thread it through a hole between the cups and the cups
are then bent over the knot in the thread. Hope this makes sense!

Then I went out and bought beadtips, not thinking that there were different
kinds! This one doesn't have a hole between the cups, but on a tab next to
one of the cups. Can someone explain how these are used or point me to a
website that can show me? I've tried various things with them and have
searched google and can't find anything.

Oh, and I scanned a pic of it and put it he

Id ask and try a sample beforebuying a lot. They are a cheap way to
terminate a necklase or whatever, and might just be unsafe for your
quality of product.

Hi Pat those are to cover knot ends of cord or leather. You put them over the
knot, and squeeze together, and hey presto a fancy end on which to attach your
jewellery clasps. Neat idea, I like them.

A spot of glue in there would probably be a fine idea too.

If you try to 'reply' to me without fixing the dot, your reply

change the 'DOT' to '.' to email me

As always, put on rubber gloves, wear eye protection, stand on an electrically
insulating mat, dress in old clothes, avoid electrical shock by working with one
hand in your pocket, and do it outdoors in a well ventilated area. Lastly, to
avoid personal injury, have it done professionally.
