Wax paper/ Freezer Paper question

Well I'm about to start fusing my Quilt Diva wall hanging together, and

instructions have groupings that you are suppose to fuse together, cool

then place on wax paper...... will freezer paper do?? Or am I going to

Because I just got back from the city and I am so not going back in
today....


I assume they are looking for something to rest the appliques on that will
not stick to them. I would think either parchment paper or the release paper
that originally came on the fusible stuff would work.
