Default apprentice/intern needed

Successful medieval and renaissance Costume Designer seeking unpaid intern for educational opportunity and in-studio assistance in San Diego. This is the real deal! Part-time permanent position, can be flexible with the schedule. Work experience for school OK. Opportunity to promote into paid position.

The ideal candidate has basic sewing skills, basic patternmaking, some computer and office skills. Willing to work and learn under hands-on conditions, flexible and smart. Local resident with own transportation. Must be physically able to stand for long periods, lift up to 60 lbs, and tolerate stressful deadlines on occasion.

Don't you think compensation for interns went a little south
ever since Clinton and Monica?
Just a thought.

Naw, this outfit is doing Medieval and Renaissance stuff......that would be
SERF not slave, wonder if they will give them a mud hut in the alley for
living quarters and hunting rights to the rats so they can keep up their
strength.

I forwarded this "educational opportunity" to a few of my friends who are
costumers and jewelers....they said it was the best joke I've forwarded to
them so far!

I think it should read;
WANTED highly skilled schmuck to increase my profits while lowering the
business overhead.

even if someone is taking out the trash, cleaning the cutting room floor and
observing the master at work, surely they deserve some sort of
compensation... after all it's scut work the great master no longer has to
do...

Doesn't sound like there would be any shekels spent to build a
hovel......probably just a mud hut. Val

Nah... Kip in the workroom on the table, guarding all the expensive
stuff from burglars, innit?

THAT'S the 'compensation'! You get to kip on a cold hard table and
fight off intruders!
