cutterpede or new fiskars trimmer
I am considering purchasing a Cutterpede paper trimmer. I have previously
used the Fiskars rotary trimmer and been very disappointed with this; I just cannot get good straight cuts. Any opinions on the Cutterpede trimmer? Any opinions on the new Fiskars trimmer(with the rotary blade)? Anyone compared the two? |

The cutterpede takes some practice, but it does cut much straighter than the
old fiskars cutter. Also the edge that you line your paper up against is not rounded like the old fiskars cutter (that was the thing I hated the most) I really like the magnetic bar. You really have to hold your paper to the left of the cutter so that the paper stays in place, but I think that is the same for any cutter. I like the roller blade, it seems to make a much smoother cut than the old fiskars as long as you press down enough when you bring the blade across. I hope that all made some sense -- -Kirsten E.
