Default Tambour Beading

I am in need of a book on tambour embroidery. Amazon have a
second-hand source for a book (by Maisie something ... the book is
about tambour embroidery using a frame or something similar) but
unfortunately the second-hand source will not sell internationally!

What a pain! I have bought a lot from Amazon, but usually new. Can
anyone help me with this?

I also seek sources for tambour hooks (sometimes called shuttles).

I'd be grateful for any advice - and thanks

Daisy, I don't have an answer, but I'll bet if you post your request
on rec.crafts.textiles.needlework you'll get a good response to both
of your questions. I've found them to be
an invaluable source ofembroidery information for me

Having a few minutes to spare I did a bit of googling on Uk web pages.

I found

http://www.abebooks.co.uk

It is for s/h books.
The search lead me to finding two books in USA.

one at Ruth Kern books priced at $15.
Email contact:

the other priced 19 dollars is at
Books on line Cincinnati.
Contact

http://booksonlineplus.zoovy.com.

Hope this helps
Shirley
