Default Aaron -- about that gansey

Oh, I have no balance, tho I do occasionally achieve a sort of Zen trance
when I'm in the spinning groove. Long-term project, this gansey...

I'm a slower knitter. It would take me hundreds of years : )

I think that fast knitters deserve as much admiration as sports

superstars.

I wish to encourage the project. I do not wish to disturb your "balance"

in
anyway.

First I have to get all the yarn spun. I've done two, 2oz hanks of the
probably 2# that I'll need.

THEN I have to swatch.

THEN I have to design the thing

THEN I have to knit it

I hope you're long on patience as I don't expect to have it finished in

less
than 5 years The yarn I'm spinning plies up to about 20wpi, and this

is
a 3-ply yarn, so you might imagine it will take me long and long to do

the
spinning. Yarn this fine MUST be knit on #1/#14 needles just because it

is
so fine, which means the knitting will take forever.

This is a long-term project!
