LOL - thanks!! I am definitely going to make more - they are a lot of fun
to make. I need to fine-tune the petal making process, but these are decent
for my first try.

How lucky you are to have someone so talented make this lovely
bracelet for you, Kandice. ;=) I really am digging those new flowers
and like the way you made the back of them almost as interesting and
definitely as well crafted as the front. Make some more of those
please!

Hi everyone - I thought I would show off a bracelet I made for myself. I
don't usually make stuff for me, but I couldn't help it. Purple and green
are my fave colors and I really liked the way this turned out. I tried my
hand at sculptural flowers last night after making bead orders, and this is
the result. The center focal is a flower button that measures about 24mm in
diameter. The other flower button is made into a dangle and is smaller -
about 14mm in diameter. I made both flowers on 3/32" mandrels. The
bracelet is made from my lampwork, Austrian crystals, sterling silver 2 hole
tabs, sterling spacers, a sterling toggle and a couple of pewter cast
dangling from sterling chain. Sterling findings as well, and Soft Flex 49
strand .19 coated wire. It's 8" long and fits my wrist snugly. Here are
some pics! The first pic is of the whole bracelet and the second has some
closeups of each component.

I'd love to know what you all think of the bracelet, and particularly of the
flowers.

Thanks! The flowers are annealed properly, so they should not break easily.
I tossed this bead against the wall before I put it in the jewelry just to
make sure, and it's very stable. I will wear the bracelet around for awhile
to make sure it holds up to my abuse.

It is very unique. I like it. I am not a flower fan, it would not be for
me, but it is very cool and well designed. Will those petals stand up

under
getting knocked into things?

Kandice,

Looks lovely! I'm jealous.

One thing I've done with similar 2-hole beads with an open back, is use 2mm
seamless silver beads in the void. It hides the wire, mostly, and rides
nicely along your wrist.
