Good news on all fronts, Kathy! I'm sure you'll bead up a lovely Epi-pen
cover. I just got a lecture from Mike about refilling my scrip, and NOT leaving it in the glove compartment, too. Heat is a bad thing for them, and here they par-boil in moments. (We're having a week+ of over 110 high temps). I only have bee-sting issues and haven't been stung in several years but better safe than sorry. Sleep clinics are a wonderful thing. Make good use of them. -- KarenK Desert Dreamer Designs http://members.cox.net/desertdreameraz/ Ebay Sto http://www.stores.ebay.com/desertdreamerdesigns JustBeads: http://www.justbeads.com/search/ql.cfm?s=DesertDreamer |

My body should be a Superfund contaminated site!
Unless we get a Democrat in office this time around, I don't think you have a chance at being designated a Superfund site!! It's called the environment, stupid! KathyH "Kathy N-V" wrote in message .com... Talked to the Pharm Dr. today, and we went through the whole shebang. I got a couple of suprises, one lecture and a plan to get off Ambien. Surprises: Doctor finally believes me when I tell him that high doses of Singulair are giving me joint pain, exacerbating my arthritis. (Result of a car accident when I was 20) But, the Singulair is working exceptionally well at keeping my worst asthma attacks at bay. We're trying to work out a plan that gets me the benefits of Singulair without the arthritic pain. Lectu My Epi Pen lives in two places in the glove compartment of the car and beside my desk. The doc seems to think I should wear it as a necklace component. We settled for Epi-Pen in the purse at all times. Lecture Part II was to keep on the Fosamax, because I have Osteoporosis, and helping the bone rebuild is considered more important than the bleeding ulcers it gave me. Taper Plan: Continue this week as normal, then two weeks of a half-doze of Ambien, two weeks of a half dose every other night, then drop it altogether. As for sleeping after that point, well, I need an appointment at the sleep clinic anyway, perhaps they can help. My body should be a Superfund contaminated site! Kathy N-V |
